Eva Kwiek
Independent Nurse Prescriber
Verity Nowlan
Eva is a highly skilled and experienced aesthetic practitioner who has worked alongside some of the UK’s most prestigious dermatologists, delivering a variety of non-surgical aesthetic treatments. She specialises in non-surgical rejuvenation treatments with a combination of injectables to achieve natural-looking results, and she is extremely passionate about providing treatments that enhance and complement the unique characteristics of a person that make them who they are.
After completing her Nursing degree, Eva began her medical career as an ITU Nurse at several busy London hospitals before deciding to explore her passion for skin health, preventative medicine and ageing well. During her time in ITU, she developed great knowledge and understanding of assessing the deteriorating patient and emergency needs – invaluable skills to have even in her current role.
Eva was handpicked by Dr Sophie Shotter to join our flourishing team and help grow our aesthetic offering. Working closely alongside Dr Sophie and our team of talented aesthetic practitioners, Eva provides a wide range of treatments including dermal fillers, anti-wrinkle injections, skin boosters, Sofwave and medical treatments such as Hyperhidrosis injections. Eva also has a great passion for skin health and has a good knowledge base of home care products and in-clinic treatments.
As an Independent Nurse Prescriber (INP), Eva is constantly seeking to improve her knowledge as new techniques and scientific insights are discovered and she regularly updates her expert knowledge. She has completed several Aesthetics courses with some of the world’s most authoritative figures within the aesthetics industry and has been fortunate enough to have worked alongside prestigious dermatologists whilst developing her aesthetics skills. She is currently working towards her level 7 Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine which she feels is important for refining her skills further.
The most rewarding part of Eva’s role is witnessing the patient transformation – both in appearance and confidence. She enjoys working closely with her patients to truly understand what they’d like to achieve with their skin, and she believes that using a combination strategy is integral to obtaining optimal facial balance and natural enhancement. Her emphasis for long term preventative ageing focuses on meticulous attention to volume replacement, facial lifting and contouring, and skin rejuvenation, whilst ensuring safety is always maintained.
Outside of work, Eva enjoys travelling and believes that it is one of the only things you can buy that truly makes you richer. She also enjoys cooking and spending time with her friends.

Verity Nowlan
Aesthetic Nurse Prescriber & Dermatology Specialist
Verity Nowlan
Verity joined Dr Shotter’s team as an Aesthetic Nurse Prescriber and Dermatology Specialist to help meet the growing demand for some of our most popular treatments.
Verity originally trained as a Beauty Therapist, gaining The CIDESCO Certificate, the world’s most prestigious qualification for aesthetics, and spent the first few years of her working life offering beauty treatments in boutique spas in London. During this time, Verity developed a particular interest in Advanced Aesthetics and decided to retrain as a nurse to explore her passion further. After completing her Nurse Diploma, Verity went straight into aesthetics and completed extensive courses to build her skill set and ensure patient safety. She has since worked alongside many award-winning practitioners in one of the best-regarded clinics on Harley Street.
Following the completion of her Diploma and aesthetics training, Verity also successfully completed her Nurse Independent Prescriber, a qualification held by approximately just 2% of British Nurses, enabling her to prescribe the medications required within aesthetic medicine.
Feeling as though something was still missing from her impressive skill set, and always keen to learn more, Verity then decided to gain her Masters in Clinical Dermatology at Kings College London. This decision has enabled Verity to take a medical approach to skin health.
Verity now combines aesthetics with her dermatology skills, supporting patients with a host of different skin conditions including acne, eczema, rosacea, psoriasis, and hyperhidrosis. In addition to her aesthetic work, Verity also works as a Band 7 Dermatology Clinical Nurse Specialist within the NHS.
Dr Sophie Shotter handpicked Verity to join her flourishing team and help grow her treatment offering. Working closely alongside Dr Sophie, Verity provides a wide range of treatments, including anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, Profhilo, Microsclerotherapy, HydraFacial and chemical peels, and the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions such as acne, rosacea, and Hyperhidrosis.
Verity takes a 360° medical and holistic approach to the skin – she is passionate about making the skin look beautiful by treating conditions on the surface and enhancing and beautifying the features with injectable treatments for a subtle, natural result. Her ethos is that all aesthetic treatments start with the skin. She enjoys working with her patients to build a targeted skincare regime consisting of good-quality, medical-grade skincare to achieve a beautiful, radiant complexion before enhancing their features with injectables.
The most rewarding part of Verity’s role is witnessing the patient transformation over time and building relationships with her patients. She enjoys working closely with people to help them understand how to optimise their skin health and feel the best version of themselves. She finds it incredibly rewarding to be able to recommend the very best products and treatments and deliver results that not only meet a patient’s expectations, but exceed them – from teenagers with acne, to post-menopausal women struggling with rosacea, wrinkles, or loss of elasticity in the skin.
Outside of work, Verity is kept very busy with her toddler, Enya and her whippet, Beryl. She enjoys going on long walks, practising meditation and has recently trained in Reiki, a hobby of hers.

Amba Logan
Skincare Expert & Facialist
Amba Logan
Amba joined us in early 2022 as a skincare expert and facialist and is responsible for some of our most popular everyday treatments. These include HydraFacial, chemical peels, Sofwave, Meder Beauty Professional Treatments, and her own bespoke facials that she tailors to individual concerns.
With three decades of experience, Amba has become highly sought after for her fresh approach and no-nonsense advice, and she is often referred to as a ‘super facialist’.
Amba is very passionate about helping her patients understand their individual skin needs and aims to take each patient on a journey to become their own skin expert at home. She blends clinically backed skincare with medical facial treatments for science-led results and improved wellbeing. Her extensive knowledge and understanding of the skin are what helps her to achieve her signature radiant, clean skin finish, for which she is now renowned.
Throughout her 30-year journey, Amba has treated thousands of faces, worked with skincare, fashion and bridal brands, been a national and international educator, had her work published in magazines, and she previously owned and ran an award-winning beauty salon in the heart of Derbyshire.
Amba takes a holistic, multi-layered approach to skin health that combines the right products, treatments, medical-grade technology and a balanced lifestyle to help patients glow with confidence both in and out of the treatment room. She believes that healthy, radiant skin isn’t achieved just by the latest ‘miracle’ cream or skincare trend, but by a balance of well-chosen products, treatments, technology, exercise, stress management, diet, and an awareness of our hormonal cycle.
The most rewarding part of Amba’s role is educating people about their skin and helping them to love their complexion and, in turn, improve their health, happiness, and confidence. It means a lot to her to hear women share their stories of how life-changing her advice or methods have been.
Outside of work, Amba loves going into the city and immersing herself in fashion and skincare, but she loves being at home in a pair of wellies exploring the peak district just as much.

Louise Voges
PA to Dr Sophie Shotter
Verity Nowlan
Louise joined Dr Sophie’s team in 2022, having spent the previous 8 years working in the London corporate world. Now, ready for a complete change of industry, she is thrilled to be dipping her toes into the aesthetics world and is particularly excited about working closely with Dr Shotter, who she describes as a ‘wealth of knowledge’.
Louise’s role is to ensure the smooth running of Dr Shotter’s diary, make travel arrangements, and assisting with day-to-day tasks. She is also responsible for ensuring that Dr Shotter’s clinics run seamlessly and that the patient journey progresses as smoothly as possible. Louise says, ‘I love that I’m developing my role alongside Dr Sophie – in simple terms, I am here to make Sophie’s life easier so that she can focus on doing what she loves most – treating her patients, working with brands and growing her businesses.’
Her new role with Dr Sophie has opened her eyes to the world of skincare and medical aesthetics. She finds the various products, treatments and technologies fascinating and is enjoying learning about the many non-invasive options that are available. “It’s powerful to see patients come in, many of whom are understandably nervous or going through difficult periods of their life, and then seeing their transformations as they move through their treatment journey”, she says.
Louise hasn’t tried any treatments yet, being very new to the world of aesthetics and skincare, but she is very much looking forward to experiencing a HydraFacial at some point soon and supporting the health of her own skin with medical-grade skincare – Meder Beauty is one brand that she has on her radar.
Outside of work, Louise really enjoys keeping active. She regularly plays tennis and Badminton and has recently joined a running club. She also enjoys spending time with family, going to the cinema, and trying new hobbies – exploring creative writing is next on her list!

Justine Harvey
Patient Coordinator
Justine Harvey
Justine joined the Illuminate team in 2022 as our Patient Coordinator, and she will be the first point of contact for all new patient enquiries. With over 15 years of experience within the aesthetics and private healthcare sector, Justine has worked alongside some of the most established doctors and consultants in London and the South East.
After experiencing a cosmetic surgical procedure for herself, Justine became fascinated by the surgical and aesthetics industry and the results that can be achieved, so she decided to explore it further. She loves to see the positive effect that both aesthetic and wellness treatments can have on a patient’s overall outlook, as well as their physical appearance. As a past acne sufferer, Justine knows first-hand the benefits that treatments such as peels and medical-grade facials can bring. She is very passionate about educating patients about their skin, the various treatments we provide, and the positive effects can deliver.
As our New Patient Coordinator, Justine’s role is to ensure the smooth running of the clinic diary whilst fulfilling the highest standard of care for all patients. She is the first point of contact for all new patients and will be dealing with enquiries, from anti-ageing and injectables to general skin health and concerns such as acne and pigmentation. Justine prides herself in providing the highest level of care and communication and ensuring each patient’s journey is seamless. She describes herself as ‘a patient’s very own personal assistant’ – she will be there to guide and help them with whatever they need.
Having worked in beauty and aesthetics since the beginning of her career, Justine is passionate about the industry and the genuinely life-changing results that treatments can deliver. She loves talking to patients, listening to their concerns, and guiding them through the treatment options that are available. She understands that, for many people, choosing to have aesthetic treatments is not a decision that is taken lightly and often comes with many questions and worries. To Justine, it is incredibly rewarding to be able to look after patients at the very beginning of their aesthetic journey and help them feel informed and at ease before visiting us for a consultation.
Outside of work, Justine has a keen interest for health and enjoys practising yoga and going for spa days. She also loves a weekend brunch and enjoys travelling to new places and experiencing different cultures.
